The TRUEK-9 Apprenticeship Program offers a hands-on learning experience designed to provide real exposure to both dog training and the business behind it. Apprentices work directly alongside the owner and head trainer during daily training, gaining experience with a wide range of dogs, behaviors, and training environments.

Apprentices are involved in foundation work, structured walks, private sessions, and board-and-train routines, while learning the proper use of training tools, food, communication, and relationship building. Training takes place in real-world settings, allowing apprentices to see how dogs are worked outside of controlled environments.

In addition to hands-on training, apprentices gain insight into the day-to-day operations of running a dog training business, including crate management, client communication, scheduling, and marketing. The program is tailored to individual learning goals and is designed to build practical skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the profession.
